Snow & De-Icing for Metal Roofs
Kalb Corporation carries roof deicing products designed for installation under standing seam, metal shingles and other conductive roofing materials. Tuff Cable provides safe and effective roof deicing without the clutter of cables installed above roofing materials.
Tuff Cable product can be installed under metal roofing materials for effective deicing in either Invizimelt Panels or a Heatsink Kit. Tuff Cable is snapped into our rapid heat transfer Aluminum Invizimelt Panels, or can be attached between mortared grooves in our Heatsink Kits. These two systems are attached to the subroof and covered with ice and water shield before the final metal roofing materials are installed.

ZMesh and Tuff Cable are the only products listed to melt snow and ice for installation under roofing materials (UL 1588). These systems are the only system system listed on the market that follow Article 426 of the NEC for under roof or enclosed panel applications.
Tuff Cable provides heat output designed to ASHRAE standards, high strength, customized layout that can be installed in Heatizon Invizimelt Panels or Heatsink Kit and 25 year warranty.
GutterMelt can be used to keep your gutters and downspouts ice-free. GutterMelt can be paired with a low voltage Tuff Cable or ZMesh roof deicing system in gutters and downspouts to help water flow off the roof and to the ground. GutterMelt comes with a 10 year warranty.
